Anna Kalbfell, M.D. was born and raised in rural Indiana before attending Purdue University where she obtained a B.S. in Neurobiology and Physiology. From there, she obtained her M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gyncology at Michigan State CHM/Providence-Providence Park Hospital in Southfield, MI, just outside of Detroit. She is passionate about OBGYN, but especially enjoys minimally invasive surgery, urinary incontinence management and family planning. In her spare time, Dr. Kalbfell enjoys swimming, sailing, and being outdoors with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She is an avid Boilermaker and Colts football fan. Dr. Forrest received a BA in African Studies and a BS in Biological Sciences from N.C. State University. She attended medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her job related interests include preventive medicine, minimally invasive surgery and adolescent gynecology. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, photography, community service and spending time with her husband and three children, two boys and one girl. She is a member of Greenville Community Christian Church. Suzanne Fiscus, M.D. was born and brought up in a farming community in Ohio and subsequently attended Ohio State University for college and medical school. She attended the Medical University Of South Carolina in Charleston, where she became board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fiscus enjoys all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology, but especially adolescent gynecology, menopausal treatment, gynecologic, vaginal and laparoscopic surgery. She lives in Wilson with her family. She is an avid runner, swimmer and weightlifter. Dr. Fiscus is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attends the Methodist Church. Arthur H. Hanson, III, M.D. received his undergraduate education from Tufts University and then received a masters degree from Harvard University. He did his residency at the George Washington Hospital School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He has practiced in Wilson since 1992. Outside interests include him being an avid jogger and enjoying being around his wife and three daughters. Daniel P. Michalak, M.D. received an undergraduate degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in biochemistry from Villanova University. He graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center in Baltimore Maryland. Dr. Michalak is an avid swimmer and golfer and has practiced in Wilson since 1984. Alexander Almeida, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. He graduated from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He completed his residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr Almeida enjoys providing comprehensive women’s care. He also speaks spanish. Some of his special interests include obstetrics, preventive medicine, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, urinary incontinence. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Enjoys riding mountain, road bike and he is a big soccer fan.
